Suomen Glaukoomaseura ry - Finlands Glaukomförening rf

The Finnish Glaucoma Society (SGS) was founded in 1997 to enhance research, development of diagnostic and therapeutic methods, and glaucoma education and awareness. SGS organizes national and international educational courses, symposia and meetings. SGS also keep in contact and creates networking among Finnish and international glaucomatologists and ophthalmologists. SGS also develops collaboration with National Glaucoma Societies and their Organizations worldwide.

Finnish Glaucoma Society is based in Helsinki. The members of SGS are either ophthalmologists or residents in training. In addition, SGS has Honorary Members and Sponsor Members.
